38 weeks 5 days..
Had a dr appt today, doc told me I was 1 cm dilated & over half way thinned out.
Am I far from going into labor?
How many cm were you when you went into labor?
Answers please!!

Have you been having contractions? Im not sure what im feeling every now & then are contractions or not.

Iam 39w3d and i was 2cm and 40-50%thinned last thursday and went for check today and iam still the same. So its really any day. They come when they are ready. So i have another appt next week if she does not come by then. My due date is the 24th monday..

Well my first daughter, i was 39 weeks 1 cm dilated but my
cervix was 88% effaced. Then it was 100% effaced a day later, my water broke and i dilated to 4 cm overnight, FIRST PREGNANCY!  Lol so i say if the cervix is thinning out, prepare anyway, its softening for a smooth err ntrance as nd giving the baby a better reason to come down..good luck and congratulations! !
