is estrogen level high right before ovulation?
Hmm, I always wondered about this too - back when I was doing IUI's, my estrogen was usually about 1200 on the day of my LH surge. No one ever told me what it meant - just that it was good.

Yes, that's the point where it should be the highest in your cycle. Supposed to be 200-600 per mature (18 mm) follicle on the day of your surge. Sounds like you have one follie for sure; maybe more that's close to being mature.
