gas relief

This is a funny question but it is something that is painful. I've had horrible, horrible gas pain for the last three days.  I've tried gas-x but it hasn't helped.  I waited too long to eat the other day and gobbled up a bag of popcorn. That's when the pain started. Even ginger tea hasn't helped. I drank some root beer and it helped some but it has artificial sweetener so i don't want to drink a lot of it. Help, I'm starting to worry.

There is a juice you can get that is called PlumSmart that helps with constipation naturally.  It's prune juice but it it mixed with another juice so it doesn't taste so bad lol  It's even a good thing to give to your kids if they are having bowel issues.

Oh yes, I remember that.  Usually a by product of constipation, at least it was for me.  I ate dried apricots...worked wonders for me to get things moving.  Hope you get some relief soon!

omg I know this is such a pain, those gas pains.  And I think mine like to come when I am trying to lay down and sleep.  What I do first is get on my knees and lay my cheek on the floor.  I stay in that position until I can feel the gas move or expel.  It may look crazy but it works, I use that for our boys too and it helps their tummy aches.

I feel your pain, literally! I'm going on day 3 of it.:( I've tried everything... Gas-x, hot water w/lemon, different positions, Ginger, peppermint tea, tums, long walks, etc. Haven't tried the root beer though... I just can't get any relief. Its horribly painful. :( (BTW, I'm 21 weeks)

I used to have the same problem but I found that a teaspoon lemon juice in a cup of boiled water helps - I would drink it then go lie on my left side, legs pulled up and wait .... it never dissapointed me!!

If possible let it out!  Eventually you're probably going to have a BM that will give you some relief.  Drink tons of water.
