help me name this baby

well ladies...the time is ticking away quickly and i still dont have a name picked out for my baby girl :(

DF and i were talking about it tonight and I finally got him away from Mary Jane as her first name but he is persistant with having Mary as part of her first name so my little brain is turning and i cant stop thinking of how to make this work

i think the best way to include mary in her name and keep it unique is to give her 2 first names....heres the dilemma....what other first name would you include with Mary that doesnt make it so plain?

My thoughts so far have been

Mary Ella "R" "M"  --- R is the first letter of her middle name and her name will start with a M

haha thats about as far as I thought :(

please ladies...all suggestions are welcome....what other name would you include with mary to give this baby a cute name?

thanks in advance for your input

Could you make it Maria or Rosemary or something like that?  I had a dance instructor whose name was "Merry" (she matched it too.)  DH has an Aunt Maryellen.  I also like Mary Claire.  Good luck!
PS. We had a terrible time coming up with a middle name this time too.

How bout Mary Clarke?  i know someone who if they had a girl they were naming her that.  They had a boy and named him plain old Clarke.

Merri
Merinella
Marysia (pronounced marisha)

Mary is a tough one... good luck with that!

maryam? I had two in my classroom this year..

maybe you could use mary as the second part of the name and then it would be likely shortened to the first one...

Ella Mary

Carissa-Mary renne martin..  (don't know your real middle and last names) but people would end up shortening it to Carissa ya know so then you could kinda get what you wanted..

My mom's name is Mary Casandra, and I think that is really pretty.  She is often called Mary Cass...a little different.  Also, she opted to go by Casandra instead of Mary in her teen years.  So you can use Mary as a first name and make DH happy, but use the middle name as an everyday name.  In that case, just about anything would work.

Other's that are cute (at least in my opinion)

Mary Lee
Mary Beth
Mary Jo

or other versions of Mary.  Marie is really pretty.

I actually love the name Mary, and it is unique now.  You don't see too many baby girls named that.  Alot of the more traditional names are coming back, and are now considered somewhat unique.  Good luck!!!  You are getting sooo close.  I cannot wait to see this little Princess' picture!!!

To be honest anything that goes with mary is not going to be unique such as Mary Kate, Mary Ann, Mary Jane, Mary Sue,.....maybe mary should be the middle name. just a suggestion!!!
