I like all the different colors you have put together. I'm never that brave with color but I like it when others do it.
I also like mels idea of going with two colors and then bringing additional colors in with all the stuff.
mel...with dd.. I stuck with a theme.. and omg..It drove me crazy if things didnt match.. toys.. blankets etc.. Just because it wasnt the right colors..lol I would put it in the other room. and thats really what Im trying to avoid.. spent way too much money on things. and they really didnt matter.. they out grow things so fast. lol guess im trying to be practible, and thinking of adding so many more colors. smile so things will auto..match.
rukiyar.... no punt taken.. a friend of mine came up with this.. lol so I dont take it personal at all. I like your ideas though.. I have bought some hanging butterflyes it looks as if there flying in the room form out of the window.. really cute and colorful.. ha ha (as if I need more color) eh mel? a white picket fence would be cute. I also have a mobil with flying birds.. it would add a nice touch too..bright yellow.. I think its called baby birds mobile.
I just spent a small fortune on this one mobil with clasical music and made by baby einstsin. ugh and it doesnt match... see.. I just hope I dont get wrapped up like I did with my first. lol although she had two rooms.. this one will only have one. at least for a year.. depends where dd is going to college.
thanks for the ideas guys.. keep them comming!! Im sure if I would help if added the other stuff for a better view.. I have a shleve like in the closet were going to hang on the wall over the bed. and the mirrow will get hung on the other side to even it out. oh its such a small room.. grrrr and its another honey project Im waiting on. why do men fill they need to put things off!!
I love the crib, Teresa & the room - it does have a lot going on color wise. I'd probably stick to just two colors also. The picket fence & blades of grass are fine ideas. It's such fun decorating a girl's room! Well, a boy's room too but it seems your options are little more limited.
It looks like a girls quilt with the colors , it's nice not bad but the pink and yellow are the prettiest theme together I would take out the blue(please dont get mad) Pink and Yellow with a ladybug or garden theme, like green blades of grass or a picket fence (white) they sell the stencils at LOwes and HOme Depot would really match the furniture with flowers and a touch of red some where. All in all she's gonna love it
LOVE the colors!! I wouldn't change a thing! It looks very festive!!
I would go with 2 colors... you have to remember that the babies toys and blankets and everything else adds color to the room... the walls shouldn't really be the thing that stands out but instead what you put into the room... haha... Just my opinion but you know opinions are like as sholes everyone has one haha....
so you think it is too much?.. serious.. I dont mind the cridicts.. I would rather hear it now while I can fix it... smile
lol it is alot of color...lol you cant even see the ceiling fan.. the blades are one of each color too..
tjmax.. has the hangers.
ok there are a lot of colors going on there... I am going to do a very pale pink on 3 walls and a pale yellow on the 4th...
btw, where did you get the thingy for the closet that you can hang two rows of clothes on?
The room is colorful and creative. Baby will love it!
