Please let us know how the appt goes the 28th.  I bled and spotted from 5 weeks until week 14 and was a nervous wreck the entire time!  I am currently 30W w/ a healthy baby girl, so don't give up hope!!  Best of luck!

Lots of women bleed off and on during first trimester.  I bled at 5 weeks, it was also bright red.  I called my Dr. the next morning, and they told me to keep my feet up and that this happens frequently.  At my u/s everything looked fine.  You really should call your Dr. though.  Bleeding can be nothing, but it can also mean a problem (not even necessarily m/c).  You should have it checked out.  Good luck to you.
