I'm 38 weeks and for the past week or two, I have been really itchy all over my body. Is this normal?

I am 36 weeks and also have itching all over!  I told my Dr about it and after testing it turned out to be something called cholestasis.  It only happens in the 3rd trimester.  Harmful to the baby so they deliver early. I don't want to sound scary but just make sure you check with your dr. Hopefully it is just itching!  Good luck!

I am also super itchy and spoke with my Dr about it just yesterday. He said that as long as I am sure it's not an allergic reaction to use Aveeno anti itch lotion and even mix hydrocortisone with regular fragrance free lotion. I already had sarna anti itch lotion so I used it after the shower today and have been comfortable mostly all day. He said benadryl, claritin or zyrtec could also help.
