lovenox Shots ouchie!!!

I was wondering how many women are on lovenox injections? I inject myself twice a day with 120mg. I have had an unkown clotting disorder for the past 13 years that the doctors cannot figure out why. Frustrating to say the least. When I found out I was pregnant my Hematologist put me on these injections. I was on them before for 7 months trying to figure out the best course of treatment. Now I have no choice. If I don't take them I could clot and kill the baby and myself. I'm worried about hemorrhaging during my csection. Any advice on good spot to inject, as well as coping with this would be greatly appreciated. I'm feeling defeated. These shots hurt sooo bad. It's all worth it. I know. But uncle!!!!

I've had to take Lovenox injections during both my pregnancies. It's usually just injected abdominaly and you alternate sides for every dose.  I had a scheduled induction with my first and they had me stop the Lovenox 2 days before to avoid any excessive bleeding. We will have a scheduled induction again with this one. However I'm on a lower dose than you are and my clotting issue is estrogen related... I only need to take the injections for 6 weeks after the baby is born. I've never found the injection pain that bad... There are some areas that are much more sensitive than others and the burning/stinging sensation usually goes away pretty quickly.
