Oh! And I realized that if I controlled the nasty taste in my mouth after eating by brushing or chewing gum, I felt much better. I personally think that more alkaline foods are helpful too.

Hang in there! Mine is bad too...ugh. I am doing a lot of what was suggested: eating every 2-3 hours to make sure your stomach is never empty; sea bands; taking prenatal before bed. The thing that's made the biggest diff for me are: regularly exercising (finally my headaches went away - I just do simple prenatal videos) and getting some protein/meat in my diet, which is hard when you're nauseous (simple steamed chicken or Mediterranean grilled was a good start). Hydration is esp hard for me but I'm drinking as much as I can get down, including decaf tea with some sugar or honey. Best wishes to you!!

Drink water if your pee is yellow!  Also, be careful about nausea medication.  It can be harmful to the baby. Try and tough it out. I kept crackers by the bed.

I agree with the other ladies that the bright pee is most likely from your prenatal vitamin. If you are having a hard time drinking even water, this will affect the taste in your mouth (& can cause bad breath too). I was able to get some help by only taking my prenatal at night before bed. I also did well by nibbling on small amounts of crunchy salted pretzels and sipping ginger ale. The emptier my stomach, the more sick I was. I've heard potato chips can work for some. If you have extreme nausea and vomiting, definitely talk to your doc about getting medication. You need to be able to at least drink water and eat a little. I'm 17 weeks now & blessed to have gotten past the nausea. I pray you feel better soon & can get some help from your doctor.

The bright urine amd odd taste can be from the vitamins in your prenatal as well as some dehydration. Talk to your OB. There are several things they can do to assist you. From temporarily changing your prenatal to a different kind (try a flinstones gummie vitamin) to prescribing medications to help keep nausea at bay.

Whole lemons worked for me as far as the funny taste goes. I peeled them like oranges and ate them. Didn't even taste sour to me. My husband thought I was crazy. Nausea and vomiting...drs can prescribe something. There's a med called diclegis(sp?) That saved my friend (with her second) who vomited all 9 months with her first.

I used the  Zofran pump during my first trimester. Worked wonders for me. The pill form didn't help enough.

I'm now 31+4 with mild nausea returning...soft mint candies (Junior Mints are my preference) help. Red Rock Gingerale was suggested today by my cousin so my husband will be grabbing some for me today.

I was also very nausous with both my girls. I had to be put on Zofran which works wonders!!! Before that, I used to suck on peppermints (white and red stripes hard candy). I also agree with the prenatal vitamins....I took them at night. It helped with the nausea.

What time of day are you taking your prenatal vitamins?  I get along better if I take them with supper in the evening.  I took them in the am with my previous pregnancy and the nausea was terrible.  Much better this go around. Hope this helps.  :)

Sea Bands elstic pressure point bands on wrists helped me. If your pee is super bright yellow it is probably from prenatal vitamin or other vitamin.Drink lots of water. PEE, WHEN YOU ARE WELL HYDRATED IS ALMOST CLEAR

Not much worked for me this time around. Gatorade (or even watered down Gatorade if it's to sweet) or la croix were the only things i could drink. Jolly ranchers work well. Try to eat a little something every few hours, even if it's just a couple of saltines. I found if i waited too long to where i got hungry, it made me more nauseous, which made me not eat, which set off a vicious cycle. Good luck. I'm almost 14 weeks and all thought of food still makes me queasy.

I myself now at 13 weeks have had very bad nausea due to my little one. Someone told me to try sunflower seeds and to my amazement they work really well. I think it's the salt. try it and see. good luck.
