need advice on this one???

Hi,
Let me tell you what is driving me NUTS right now...
I have a regular 32 days cycle.. and my husband and i are doing all we can to get pregnant
with what would be our 3rd child.. so ofcourse when my period did not come on december 4th
i was REALLY exited but took a test only on the 5th incase.. result negative...
here i am today the 10 th of december and still no periods  i took a test this afternoon and AGAIN
negative.... my question is it possible at all not to have enough hcg in the urine at this point?
i read on a baby-pregnancy web site that you should count 19 days from the day that you think you might of conceived before taking a hpt test.....anyone????

I read on another forum that some women do not test positive before the 2nd week. If you want to know earlier ask your doctor for a blood test, like tahariel suggests. Good luck and hope for a +++++ result!

Depending on the sensitivity of the hpt, it may take longer to see a positive on a home test. (I was three weeks late before my positive finally appeared). You may want to wait other week to test again. Otherwise your ob/gyn can do a urine or blood test. Good luck!!!
