Definitely sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. I have flare ups occasionally and now I have had it bad since 34 weeks, I am 38+4. It is usually the most painful at night, but my fingers are often numb during the day. I use ice packs for the inflammation, but I have had a hard time sleeping at night. Drink lots of water to help with swelling, it really does help!

Sounds like carpel tunnel. I had it in both hands with my last pregnancy around 35 weeks. I had to wear a brace on both hands. It does go away within a couple weeks after little one arrives. I'm 22&5 weeks now and hoping I don't get it again. I feel your pain. Talk to your doc. Good luck.

same thing has been happening to me for a few weeks now.  my whole hand will stiffen up and I can't move it for a moment. when I asked my doctor he said it is fine. more than likely baby is just positioned on a nerve and its causing it to be numb or cramp up. its after the baby he said if you still have the problem then you should get it checked out.  but its normal and nothing harmful . my stomach also feels tingly and numb all the time, my little boy likes to stay positioned on alllll of my nerves and muscles. maybe try pushing baby around in there to get him/her to move in a different position. that's what I do & sometimes works.
good luck & congrats !

I know exactly how you feel! I went through it and afraid it will come back again. I'm only 30 weeks at the moment. I lost a lot of sleep because of it. If it's really annoying I would stand up and shake out my arm to get feeling back. It helped for a little while but it comes back during sleep. It was just a quick fix for me only when it was really bothering me. Thank God it's gotten better but God knows for how long :(  Feel better!

Mummainoz is correct, that's exactly what it sounds like. A wrist brace worn to bed & into the morning, if possible, is so helpful! I had to do this on both wrists for quite a few weeks. I still wake up a little tingly but it quickly goes away now. This is a common issue in pregnancy. If wrapping it doesn't help, & you need a brace, ask your dr if they can write you a prescription for one. Some insurances will cover them. Good luck!

Sounds like carpel tunnel syndrome. I had it with my first and again with this one. Its worse if your retaining fluid. My dr said there are exercises you can do for it and I find bandaging helps but that's about it. It went away really fast after I had baby last time so hoping the same this time.

When ur pregnant everything swells. It can cause nerve issues like that . Ive had just like carpal tunnel symptoms in my arms and hands from the swelling. It'll get better once you have your baby.  It may not be instantly but soon after. I'm almost 12 wks with numbrsix.. ggood luck hope u feel better

Sounds like baby is sitting on some nerves. Have you tried laying on your left side? The reason I ask is because I've experienced the same thing at night only to realize I'm laying on my right side which slows the circulation down in my body because my baby is pressed up against all my internal organs on the right side. The sensations go away when I lay on my left.
