ovarian cysts

I hear that ovarian cysts have the same symptoms as pregnancy. Anyone have experience with them and can tell the difference?

i have one diagnosed cyst on my left ovary and i think i have one on my right side, and I have been getting crazy hormone spike, I'm getting close to missing 2 periods and i keep getting what feels like a clear period, because i can definitely feel the lining in my uterus shedding, but there is no blood! and the thing that scares most is that neither cyst has dissolved and I've known about them for nearly 2 months. I'm starting to get worried about my fertility

Ovarian cysts suck because they can delay your period and make you think you're pregnant when youre not. When theyre large and they rupture, its hurts like heck and they usually occur around ovalation. Alot of women using fertility meds get little cysts and that is normal too.

Ok! Well so far my breasts soreness has gone away, which I think is weird. Spitted a little bit this am and af isn't due til the end of the month so I'm just waiting.

I guess its different for all of us. I had one that ruptured but it wasn't very painful. What I'm feeling right now I think is pregnancy symptoms. The cyst also didn't change my cycle either nor did it give me sore boobs. The only time I have had sore boobs is a couple of days before Af and they didn't hurt like they do now.

I had an ovarian cyst that had to be removed in emergency. The symptoms were absolutely not the ones of pregnancy. I was rolling on the floor with intense abdominal pains for a couple of months, here and there before it was discovered. The cyst did not chnge my menstrual cycle at all.

Yep, pain in sex is usually a dead give away.

Ouch! That's why I'm thinking I'm pregnant. Sore boobs, pink spotting, frequently urinating, feeling in my pelvic area that switches from side to side. With my cyst I only had late period and heavy bleeding.

My cysts were painful. There were especially sensitive when we had sex. My daughter has cysts lots. She has pain and her periods are sometimes erratic, sometimes late sometimes early. However, they are always heavy.

My cysts weren't painful. No cramps or anything; just a missed period. I guess that's why they never thought to do a scan. My cramps were the same as yours. They were dull and lasted for a couple of minutes. I spotted at least twice a week for the whole month of November. I waited it out because I wanted to get a positive before I went to the doctor. My insurance doesnt cover everything and didnt want to pay any money out of pocket for nothing. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you guys.

Interesting. I have those same symptoms just started going to the bathriom more this week though. I have had cysts before but they were painful, nothing like what I'm feeling now. And the only time I have tender breasts is right befor or when my AF is on the way. Then the cramping I feel is not painful, just dull and of and on. The cysts didn't change my cycle much and maybe pushed it back a few days but always came heavy for the first 3 1/2 days then tapers off. Then I'm spotting at least once a week. I don't recall spotting pink with the cysts. I always spot a week before af as well.. Im unemployed currently and waiting it out because I don't want to pay to go for negative results when I already have them. Just gonna wait to see if af comes at the end of the month and go from there.Im like 95 percent positive that there's a bun in the oven but we will see. I'm excited because me and my fiancée have been off and on 6 years and I lost one which kinda caused us to break up then I aborted one after another break up. Its been a crazy road but we are in love and weren't trying to conceive but we would truly consider this a blessing.

I have ovarian cysts. The only reason I knew it was different was because I had different symptoms. Normally, the only symptom I had was the missed period. This time I had cramping, sore breast, and spotting, also. I had no idea I had cysts until I got pregnant, though.

after you ovulate, usually a little cyct forms where the egg burst out of your ovary, then dissolves, sometimes this doesnt happen and it can continue to grow, which in turns keeps your temps up and can delay your period, usually a scan will confirm this :)
