ovulation questions

I have a couple of questions I hope someone can answer:
I started with a vitamine pill for women that are trying to conceive, it also contains a bit of Vitex. After taking this for 5-6 weeks I was pregnant but miscarried at 8 weeks.

Since I take these pills I feel my ovulation and have a bit of pinkish discharge, an ovulation bleeding. Does this occur before, during or after ovulation?
This month I thought I ovulated on day 12 and also felt the pain (on the right), the next day pain came back on the left and I had the pinkish discharge.
I even thought I had a double ovulation but cannot find more info about this. I know older women are more likely to have more eggs released but do these come from the same ovuary (side) or one from each side and how much time is there in between?

Does anyone here use Vitex and what are your experiences?

Thanks Heather for your answer, the stronger ovulation with Vitex is true, I feel it every month since I use it.

@Sally15: I have no idea where to buy it: I'm Dutch and I got those vitamine pills from a pharmacy here in Holland. I guess when you check Google you should get it online as well.

Hi lastminutemama! Hope you're doing well! When women ovulate twice in a cycle, the second egg is released within 24 hours of the first. As for ovulation pain, it varies from person to person. Some women get it right before O, others as the egg is being released and some won't get ovulation pain until right after ovulation has taken place. So it can be hard to tell how the pain correlates to ovulation without u/s monitoring.

I've never tried vitex, but I have heard that it helps regulate the cycle and can help stimulate a "stronger" ovulation (or something like that).

Take care, lastminutemama!
