ovulation

Hi there

Just want to know from all you girls out there which method of timing ovulation you find the best to maximise conception. We are going to give it one more go so I just want to try and pinpoint ovulation as best as possible.

I used the OVWatch. I'm still not sure if it worked or not, but I did get during just my 3rd cycle trying. (The first time I got pregnant, it took about a year of trying.) Their website is filled with stories of women who had success with it, some after many years of trying. I'm tempted to let it run for a month without actually wearing it, just to see if it still predicts the same ovulation dates, but the little sensors for it are expensive! ;)

I too used the ClearBlue digital monitor for ovulation: it makes like much easier, even if your cycles are not completely regular. This monitor keeps in memory your previous ovulation numbers to give your next ovulation date, to me that's the most accurate method to use.

I too am a big fan of the ClearBlue Easy Digital Ovulation Kit.  I always started BDing from the first day of my positive for LH surge and continued for 3 or 4 days minimum.  I like the ClearBlue Digital better then other ovulation kits because it removed any and all guesswork of trying to interpret those lines.  It was a bit pricier but in my mind well worth it.  Good luck!!!

In the past, we always used clear blue easy O predictor kits.  Cycle day 10 I always surged (my cycle is 28 days).  We always had intercourse day 10 and 11 and we always got pregnant.

However, we also always miscarried. Irrelevant to predicting the ovulation thing, but just thought I would mention it, didn't want it to come across as if I was "bragging" that we always got pregnant.

Anyway, good luck!

Hi hun there is no way to tell exactly when we ovulate. Some women can tell from their bodies when they ovulate, some have pain in their ovarys.I usually do.I have tried ovulation sticks that you place in your urine but unfortunately they are not always that good. You can use a chart and take your temp every morning and work it out from there as thats probably the best way as your temp will rise slightly just before ovulation. My cycle is 26-28 days so i ovulate between 9-16 days from cd1.day (12 or 13 is when i think i ovulate).Hope that is a little help for you hun x
