post m/c attempts

I had a m/c 2 weeks ago. It has become such a habit after a year of trying that I am still taking my temperature and checking my cervical fluid. According to the fluid, I am fertile. I realize it might be a hormone mixup, but what I want to know, is what the consequences might be if I got pregnant right now? Most sites say to wait for one full cycle, but one site said there was actually no medical reason, it just makes it easier for the OB to do calculations if he/she has a period date. I just want to know if it is safe for me to have unprotected sex? We are coping with our loss by NOT trying to make a baby and just being together.

I am so sorry for you. Look into the program called MEND for support.
I had my miscarriage in 2001 and we just had IVF after all kinds of failed attempts at various things. You can see specialists to find out more about your cycle and levels. My friend had 2 m/c and she ended up having my specialist find something to remove in her cervix that might have been at fault. She is hoping for success now.
I am playing a waiting game too. Hang in there.

There are so many different opinion from the doctors about when it's okay to try for a baby - some say one, three, etc while others say it's not necessary.  I have no advice to give here because of the different "professional" opinion but I can completely understand about the coping.

I am sorry about your m/c - been there twice and it's awful.  I hope you get your BFP soon!
