Just popping in to wish you luck ~ Tarot cards or not ~ I enjoy having my cards read, and going to psychics, but I truly believe it is all in God's hands ~ and if we are to have the miracle he will give it to us.  We aren't supposed to "put false Gods before him", so I enjoy those things for entertainment purposes only, as they are to be, but that is not to say you can't believe in it whole-heartedly.

Best of luck!!!

For me, I don't believe in tarot cards but I wish you good luck in your upcoming endeavors.  There are women that have babies w/their own eggs at 43 including my re but it definitely takes time & the risk of m/c is higher.  Anyway, hang in there & I hope it happens for you - jen

I appreciate all your comments about donor eggs, but i will always feel that way about it. I  feel that science has come a very long way since test tube babies.. I have spoken in depth with my husband about donors and he is against it also ( for us). I am thankful for the 2 beautiful sons i do have and if i never concieve with my husband, i look forward to my grandchildren. I am also a firm believer in tarot readings and have for the last 12 years had readings from the same lady, who predicted a new husband and 4 babies( miscarried), which i add, has never ever been wrong. Last week i had a reading and she told me that she sees a live baby (not miscarriage), so maybe god willing i shall have my baby after all. It makes sense now that i had op and my stomach problems have been recognised.Good luck to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks hon!!!  I really believe that w/all of my heart - it doesn't matter - he was in my body sharing my blood and all of that good stuff.  Well, I think he's a pretty cute little guy - I took mega pics today of him in his new little hat - gosh, it just cracked me up (and made him cry) - jen

Jen...

I so love this line you wrote... "The moment the re transferred the embryo in me, he became totally mine - even more so than my husband's - LOL!" ;o) Momma did ALL that BEAUTIFUL work. ;o) Noah is such a doll baby.

Thanks so much LisaRG.  I agree totally w/what you said and more importantly so does my husband.  Our baby is definitely NOT the donor's - i don't understand how someone could possibly think that when all she did was donate a cell when I did everything else - include delivering the little guy.  The moment the re transferred the embryo in me, he became totally mine - even more so than my husband's - LOL!

Lisa158 - that's totally your decision whether or not to use donor eggs.  I'm definitely not here to advocate it - just say what we did to get pregnant.  It's definitely not for everyone but let me say it again:  Noah's definitely my baby just the same as my other children.

I don't mean to butt in, but in defense of donor egg - 40's Momma baby WILL be hers.
The egg may come from someones else, but the sperm belongs to the Father and more importantly that baby will have the carriers blood and placenta.  My RE said in fact that makes the baby biologically whomever carries the baby and supplies the blood!
I think this is  a miracle for woman whos eggs are not healthy.

Definitely consult a re - I didn't have the problem w/sperm motility - more to do w/age so at 44 we used donor eggs and delivered last April.  Good luck!

I'm 43, and I did IVF twice and m/c both times.  My husband also had low sperm mobility.  I had no problem getting pregnant, it was just my eggs couldn't make it pass 8 weeks.  I decided to use donor eggs and I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant.  I'd definitely talk with a specialist.  Where there is a will there's a way..  Good Luck!

I would think your best bet is to see a fertility specialist.  I think you may find this a difficult question for any of the women on this forum to answer.  Best of luck to you.
