Im all about the ease of childbirth! going to get me some just for that reason...
chris.. ugh makes you want to charge them for the afterbirth. huh?.. whats wrong with that picture? we end up with the big fat bill for the drs paycheck and hospital is making money on the afterbirth... go figure...
getting a birth contract or saving the placenta? I looked into it months ago.. but just cost too much money for us now... its a shame... I know...too bad medical insurance doesnt cover the cost.after all.... It is for the safty of the child!!!!

Really?? but, how safe is it?? i just don't wanna do anything stupid that'd affect little one just because i wanna bring labor ya know what i mean?, it overly concerns me all kinds of side effects... did you read any side effects with this?
jbrooks--i haven't heard of that one either! any consecuenses (other than having a pretty baby in your arms sooner) with this??
i watched TLC baby story and a girl on there was 38 weeks and 2 cm dialated.the doctor told her to go home and take 3 capsules of evening primrose by mouth and to insert 3 vaginally its supposed to help to soften the cervix,and start labor.she did it and was back to have the baby 8 hours later.......
What do you guys think about how the article says not to clamp and tie the umbilical chord? Is it cut after the placenta is out? Are any of you thinking of getting a birth contract or saving the placenta?
