Ok... 'Semi-common' you're in my prayers and I hope u update soon. Again, good luck and take care.
Bleeding during first trimester is common. Statistically, approximately 30% of women will experience some spotting or bleeding, and about 1/2 of those will go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies. It is however never considered normal. The general rule of thumb is - light spotting (color is not relevant, it can be brown, pink or red) should be mentioned to your Dr. at your next visit. Bleeding (requiring a pad) should be phoned into your Dr. the next day. They may wish to do an ultrasound). Heavy bleeding (a pad an hour) requires immediate medical help and you should go the emergency room.
There are some things that can cause bleeding. Sex is one of them. It won't hurt the baby, but it can irritate the cervix which is very soft right now. Hemmatoma's are also a possibility. And in some cases they never do figure out why. When in doubt always contact your Dr., but chances are this is just fine. Congrats on your pregnancy and all the best to you.
It can be normal! Stay calm and talk to your ob or go to the ER if you are scared ,they'll give you a pelvic exam and test your blood for hormone levels. If the numbers are low, not so good but its worth checking. Good luck ;)
Its never normal to bleed during pregnancy. You should contact your doctor.
It happens but its not normal. I would call ur dr. They may want u to come in to be checked. Good luck
