spotting after getting cervix checked

hey!! hope everyone is doing well!   so i had my 27 week check up today and all went pretty well! : )    she did check my cervix though for the first time today, she said she would do it now and then not for over a month or so, just to make sure its nice and closed.. Anyhow she said if i see spotting today thats normal.. and now of course i am spotting, which Freaks me out, after having so many miscarriages! i am on heparin and asprin now as well.. Anyone else spot after getting checked? how long does it usually last? i wish i could take it easy today but i have to go to work, ugh!  i hate seeing spotting!!

thank yall so much!!! even know the dr warns me that it could happen, it makes me feel so much better to "talk" to others that have had it and it turn out ok! makes me nervous after having so many complications in the past! at least i dont think i'll be having another one of those for at least a month or so! : )

I just wanted to say that I agree! It is very common although it is aggravating!

Your cervix is so soft now and easily irritated. It's pretty common to spot after they check your cervix.  I have no doubt all is just fine.

I had light spotting after internals during my first pregnancy, it's common.  It should lighten up throughout the day and stop soon.

I spotted both times I was checked during my last pregnancy - in fact I spotted w/some of my other checks in other pregnancies as well.  Mine lasted only a little - maybe a few hours.  I honestly wouldn't worry - everything sounds good.
