I may be wrong about this but I thought too little, not too much, fluid was a sign of a kidney problem (basically the baby takes in amniotic fluid but none (or little) comes out and the overall level goes down). I think too much fluid can be caused by diabetes, swallowing problems, etc. I wouldn't worry too much since you are very far along - if something was majorly wrong you would think they would know by now. I think it can also go away without any problems or incidents.
Yes, he did. he said he wants to monitor this and I am having another ultrasound on December 1. Hes says the fluid should be deminishing vs increasing... if it is increasing it could be signs of complicatins with baby. He mentioned, possible kidney problems with the baby.
This concerns me because I had an amniosentisis at 17 weeks since I am 41 and everything came back normal. I just assuemd that any issues would come up then...
I hope that I am worried for nothing...
I'm not positve but yeah I agree withthe DR too much is better than not enough. Not sure where the concern would be. Did the Dr say anthing else?
