tubal, ablation, no periods help

I had a tubal in 1997 and then an ablation in 2009. I no longer have my periods. I have 3 children from previous relationship. I am looking into a gestational surrogant. I was wondering because i no longer have my periods if i can produce healthy eggs to have a baby with my current husband who has no children. We have been together for 13 years and we would like to have a child together. Please help.

Well having an ablation is just removing the lining of your uterus, and has nothing to do with your eggs.  So you should definately see a fertility doctor and find out if you still have healthy eggs that could be used with a surrogant.  Good luck!

Well, if you are not having your periods then I don't think you can be ovulated.  Once you have gone a year without a period, unless there is another medical reason, you are considered in menopause and if that is the case, then I'm sorry, but no, you cannot produce an egg.  You need to see your Dr. to know for certain if this is menopause or something else.  All the best to you.
