ughh so uncomfortable

ok, I am 28 weeks and 4 days with twins, and all of a sudden, I am wicked uncomfortable. It seems like over night, I have become huge!!! My moods have changed drastically, like I was moody before, but now, dont even look at me or I will snap. I am concerned because I I fear I am getting close to delivery and I am not due to have these babies for another 10 weeks. Its hard to explain, I just feel different, has anyone expierenced a sudden change in symptoms, it just seems as though they are more prounounced, I have an appt tuesday for my GD< and my shot of rhogam as I am RH negative, do you think maybe I should call the doc, or am I being overly paranoid :( any insight would help

thanks
Luci

LOL and I'm only having one and act like I'm dieing sometimes. I wouldn't be working for sure if there was two in there as I am barely getting around with one. I'm older this time around but geez. My back hurts, my pelvis, legs, feet, and I am tired all the time. Not to mention I still have 16 weeks to go.
You are a better women than I am because I am betting with one I will be on leave when I get to where you are. I don't know what your plans on after the babies are born but I have to return to work after 6 weeks and there will be no rest for a very long time. I am actually looking to transfer to an area within the plant where I don't have to think to do my job because I will likely be a drone for the next 3-4 years, lol. Seriously though, maybe you should consider talking to your doctor and leave from work until after the babies are born. You need them to stay inside as long as possible for the best possible outcome. Pushing yourself could prevent that from happening. I am not trying to scare you but trying to help. I also have these same things being said to me as I am wearing down very easily and couldn't imagine two babys at one time.
Good Luck and hope everything works out for the best!

I feel similar except I'm only pregnant with one! I feel like every morning when I get up I've grown! I'm exhausted and I keep thinking I have 2 more months to go!! How can I make it?
With my first 2 pregnancy's I felt wonderful (9 years ago). I just keep telling myself it will be over soon. Hang in there!

I went through this during my 3rd pregnancy.  I know it was many, many moons ago, Luci, but i swear if anybody looked at me funmy, I was going to go off on their sorry a$$es. My poor children at the time - I felt like - well, it's not nice.  I told my then hubby that they all had to give me some serious alone time or suffer the consequences.  I'm sure what you're going through is a lot worse than mine &  I think it's normal but as always, consult your ob.  The 3rd trimester's TOUGH, hon.

I am laughing because, My first HCG was not due until christmas eve, I had the nurse practitioner at my job write me a script to have blood work done on the 22nd, maybe thats why my first number was not that high,, then... I had blood work done every other day, unbeknowst to my repro/ endocrinologist,... I have a 10 year old daughter from my first marriage, that I had no trouble getting pregnant with.

It so funny that we are both RN and I often have pregnant women asking me questions. I am a ICU nurse. I know nothing about this stuff but I am worried because of such high numbers. The doctors said it my be quads or more. I think he was joking or I hope. I am just nervous because I had an ectopic pregnancy before and i know these high numbers could be from an ectopic or molar pregnancy. I go back on Monday but like most nurses I will probly check my blood at work on saturday just to see what my levels are. Please keep me updated on your twins I am so happy for you. Is this your first pregnancy and are you ready for two babies?

First of all congrats! I am a RN  but know nothing about pregnancy, but you have to think about the space that your twins need to grow. I had a co-worker that was having twins and she had to stop working around 7 month because of the size of her stomach and she would have a hard time breathing. I was wondering did you know your first Hcg levels. I am only 3 weeks pregnant. I used clomid and I had a hcg shot on the day I had IUI. My first hcg level was 1540 which is extremely high my second one 2 days late is just 1873. Now the doctor is concerned and put me on bed rest because i am having mild cramping and a brownish discharge. He thinks i am having a vanishing twin or tripplet. I just was curious because i have not seen hcg levels so high in the first few weeks of pregnancy from anyone. Good luck
