ultrasound question

I'm 30wks and yesterday I had another ultrasound. My question is how can the tech measure the top of my baby's head at the bottom of my belly way down in my pelvic area and tell me she is head down. But then show me her face at the top of my belly and say no actually she's breech???? Has this happened to anyone else? This is my 3rd baby but the first time I've ever had this happen. I'm very confused!

I'm not worried about her staying breech cause I already know I'm having a c section. I just don't see how she measured her head down there and showed me her face up in my ribs.

I'm not sure how she had it angled to look at the baby. But don't worry about it too much, you have a long time for baby to turn if baby is breeched. Just wait for your next dr apt. Ask your dr if they can feel the babies position. My baby was breeched at 33wks & turned when I had him at 39wks. I did spend time on the ground on all 4s, they say that can help turn the baby.

She measured her head and then a long bone. Didn't tell me if it was an arm or leg. Her head was way down low and kind of to the right. Then I asked it it was her bottom up in my ribs to the right side she went to look and it was her face!

Well, can't answer to the breech part but if your baby's head is down the tech will look to his face from the opposite position. If your baby's head was on the left side, he would look at him from the right side... Imagine pointing a lantern at something
