Vitamin D requirements are very individual. The best way to know if your dose is appropriate is a blood test. YOu levels should be at least middle of the reference range.
Find out your results and take it from there.
Be sure you are taking what the doctor recommends.
I have been taking 3000 since about 10-12 weeks of pregnancy they just rechecked at 25 weeks, it has came up tremedously from 17 to 30, but they want me to increase it to 4000. And i have to take iron. I guess they want all your blood work in good standing, just in case
