I'm not sure how long you have been trying... but it can take several months in perfectly normal healthy couples. Are you charting, do you know exactly when you O? Are you timing BD correctly? I am always amazed at couples that don't get pregnant from just having BD any time without knowing when they O and then becoming upset when they come up BFN. There is science to it and you need to make sure you are doing everything at the right time...

As for the MC, I am sorry for your loss and yes, it can take a couple of months for your body to get back to normal. Chin up and keep trying. Many women conceive after 40! If it has been more than 6 months (that's what my OB told me.... I am 38 almost 39) then you should see your OB to see if there isn't any simple steps that can be done to help you out. I am on month #5 and feeling the frustration. I don't know how those that keep trying for years do it, but I do know that it can happen even after 2 years of trying!

I am very sorry for your loss.  It takes time for the body to heal.  Some women get pregnant immediately after a m/c and many do not.
I had a healthy baby when I was 41/ conceived at 40.  You still have time.
Good luck,
Lisa
