I told my nurses to let me know when the anesthesiologist was about to come. Took me like a good 2 mins to walk to the bathroom, and once I was there my contractions went away but as soon as I tried to get up it got so much worse but they were rushing me :( so I finally got to do #2  (sorry) and all was good afterwards, you just have to use the bed pan after epidural which ***** I hated trying to push my pelvis up so they can slide it.

If you have a natural labour/birth you can use the bathroom. But not with the epidural.

Yes, they cath you.  And regardless if you have an epidural or not, at some point, you may have a number two accident on the table.  Most women do.  They whisk it away and never say a thing.  I personally was MORTIFIED at that moment but most women do it and really, nurses see it ALL day long.  (tough job)

Do you think u have to do #1 or 2. If it feels like #2 that's normally the pressure from the baby pushing down. They tell u not to but if u have to pre they will give u a bed pan. It's easier and u won't have to keep getting up!
