No Heart Beat .........

Please help me

My last period was May 6th ,Which makes me 8 to 9 weeks pregnant ,I went to the doctr yesterday 14th july.but the doctor says there is no heart beat its formed very well…


Please advice me ,  am worrying

I heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks... I definitely agree with Nickie; you need to go back to your dr. for another scan in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, they've already scheduled one?

I first heard the heart beat at 10 weeks.... then didnt hear it agaiin at 11 weeks, but it was hiding behind mine..

are you having another ultrasounds?

I believe the above poster is wrong. You can expect to see a heartbeat and hear it between 6-8 weeks, depending on the sonogram machine. You need to go back to your doctor in a week or so and see if there is in fact no heartbeat or to check for fetal growth. Has your doctor said anything about a follow up appointment?

it has been a long time since I was last pregnant, but if my memory serves me correctly you typically need to be 12 -16 weeks along before a heart beat can truly be expected.
Carrying a child is  a huge respnsibility and you are right to be concerned BUT in this instance I think your doctor would have said if there was anything causing them worry.
Try to relax and look after yourself and know your body will tell you if something is  amiss. all the best in Motherhood.
