My nurse called me and told me I had a + anitbody screening. What does that mean? Im going through a miscarriage at 8wks right now and I have had 2 prior miscarriages. Could they be caused by a positive antibody screening? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
what are the antibodies for?? Antibodies are proteins that are found in blood or other bodily fluids, and are used by the immune system to identify and neutralize foreign objects, such as bacteria and viruses.
Example: Everytime you contract the flu, your immune system produces antibodies. Also, breast milk includes your antibodies to help the baby protect from viruses.
