Just wondering I'm 12 weeks pregnant just wondering if I can dye my hair there this new dye I heard of that doesn't have phumes in it and it pregnant I just wanna put a lighter blonde in my hair not bleach it
ive asked my Dr before and she said she would wait til second trimester, then its safe.
because of hormones in your body, the hairdye may react differently than it normally would.
thats why im waiting to dye my hair. i have super light blonde hair and dyed it one time (not pregnant) and it turned blue/silver and it devastated me. i couldnt imagine how id react to the disaster with pregnancy hormones involved. lol!
My doctor said it was fine to dye your hair. I did a lot of research and there is no prove either way that its harmful or not. I just decided not to dye my hair. I didn't want to take any chances but I know a lot of people who continued with coloring their hair during pregnancy so talk to your doctor and I think its something you need to decide on your own.
