14wks Bleeding

I satarted at 8 weeks with alot of bright red blood, they thought I was losing the baby. However my cervix was closed and the heart beat was found. I kept bleeding for 2 1/2 weeks after this. Then at 12 1/2 weeks it started again and I went back, again closed cervix and heartbeat. I stopped bleeding within two days. Now at 14wks I'm spotting bright and dark reb blood, along with clots. I'm worried I've lost a baby before and I'm not wanting to go through this again, any ideas?

hi im the same im now 8 weeks pregnant and been bleeding for 2 weeks bright red, heavy, light with clots i also had 2 scan and both time baby looking fine and with heartbeat they said theres no blood round about the baby or near the baby so i know how you are feeling just try and stay positive i know its hard but i think your baby will be fine.
try and not stress and take it easy

Lay down with your feet elevated untill you can get to a doc... Even whilst you sleep, this will stem the flow.

If not go to ER asap!!

I am so sorry you have to worry like this. Please stay on top of this. Can they determine where the bleeding is coming from? Is the heartbeat a normal one? I ask this because I last week was 13 weeks along and went to the ER with cramping and bleeding at 7am and was told cervix and heartbeat great. I had a m/c 12 hours later. I wish I would have asked these questions before or make them give me answers now but you make sure they give you all the answers you need. I pray for the health of you and your baby.

I am so sorry for what you are going through. This must have been a hard beginning to a pregnancy. It is possible to have bleeding through out a pregnancy. I've heard of women bleeding around the same time every month around the time AF would come.

It seems really weird to me that your doc can't figure out the cause of the bleeding. I mean I'm no doc myself but at 6 months I gushed blood with my daughter. They gave me an u/s that showed the viens and blood kinda weird but it shows where blood is going in and out. So they checked that and couldn't find anything. So they simply started looking around and they could actually tell on the inside of my uterus where I was bleeding because it showed right on the u/s. For me my placenta tore a little when I was (tmi) having a bowel movement.

I would def call the doc esp with the clots. Just push and ask that they look on the u/s for exactly where this bleeding is coming from. Its crazy they dont know anything though. I'm not saying their not looking right or anything cuz maybe they can't find anything but my tear was soooo small and they picked it right up cuz blood is noticable on a u/s.

I'm so sorry. I know some peoples body are very sensitive and do bleed especially if you usually have spotting around the time of ovulation. I would go to your OB and request an ultrasound. Keep off your feet till then and avoid sexual activity. Good luck
