It could also be hormone changes in her body. When u first start having sex ur body goes through a lot of different changes. I was 18 when i first did it and my body went crazy. i remember it so well because it was a year and a half ago. My periods changed dramatically and i got sick more easily for no reason at all. My diet changed too.

the blood test could have been done to early to pick it up, I would get a test and do it making sure she uses first morning urine,  if her period was lighter or shorter than it ususally is then yes she may well be pregnant

She almost vomitted this morning when she brushed her teeth. She has pain in her right lower side and goes into her back. Yes her period was lighter, 3 days, usually they are 5-6 and heavy. But if the blood test was negative, could she still be?

It could still be too early.
Was the light period she has similar to the rest of her periods?
Id have her take another test between feb 5th-10th.

Make sure it isn't a disease. Lord knows that is the last thing a parent wants to hear but just to stay on the safe side get her tested...

But that said, she should probably keep taking home pregnancy tests for awhile. I just did the calculations, if she is pregnant it's still pretty early, so a pregnancy test might not pick it up yet. The period should indicate she's not pregnant, but just to be safe I'd probably keep testing her once a week for at least the next few weeks.

It could just be that her body is a little off; sex can do that sometimes...or maybe she's got a stomach bug, or is psyching herself into symptoms by worrying. Personally, I think if my mom knew I had sex at 15 that might create some symptoms in me too.

If the event was December 30 and the serum test was negative a month later, she is not pregnant.  Also, if her period came two or three days after the unprotected sex, she wouldn't have been ovulating.  Would she tell you if there had been any other subsequent sexual activity?
