17 weeks pregnant feeling baby move near belly button

I read that the uterus is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches below the belly button but I am feeling my baby move at my belly button and sometimes a little above. I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks and confirmed my dates are correct. Is it normal to be feeling movement so high?!

You have to remember that not every bump or feeling is baby for sure... you uterus is pushing all your organs upward and its easy to mistaken digestion for baby as everything is shifted...Plus pregnancy brings on more gas with digestion(as its slower now) that can cause little bump like feelings, flutter feeling, ect... but at the same time i cant tell you for sure what you are or are not feeling... its not likely to feel movement this early up high but only you can interpret what your feeling :) congrats and good luck!!
