24weeks

I'm now 24 weeks pregnant with my daughter and I was in the ER this morning because I woke up with contractions.
When I am checked when I arrived I was 3cm dilated and 60% effaced.
They gave me medication to stop them and gave me corticosteroids for my babygirl since she is most likely coming very early

It's becoming apparent to me that my little one will be coming early. And they discharged me and put me on bed rest and said to come back if the contractions start again or if I lose my plug.

My question is, is it okay for me (in my case) to take a bath while Im dilated OR not. Like will it make my cervix dilate more or no? (Not trying to dilate anymore!!)

Do not take a bath what so ever!!!! If your dilating, it will only make it progress.

My friend went through the same thing. Had her daughter a month early. I dont remember whats its called but she has something. She is a very petite woman and I believe it was something about the baby getting too big and her not growing right.
