hi i was told that my cord has only 2 vessels instead of 3 someone has told me that my baby will have downs syndrome but they said at my 20 week scan every thing looked fine im worrying now

my son had a 2 vessel cord hes 6 and perfectly healthy

Don't worry. Dr's think they have all the answers, but they are human and can make mistakes. My friend was told that her baby had cysts in his lungs, but when he was born he was perfect. They had her worried to death that he would be born and he wouldn't be able to breathe. He's absolutely fine. That's why I wouldn't worry until there is something to worry about.
My niece has downsydrome and she is the most beautiful little girl. She's 11 now and she is so smart! She's a model for DS calendars and is in the special Olympics every year. DS isn't the end of the world.

My neice had a two vessel cord and she five and perfectly healthy. It's not an indicator of downs.

I have a2 vessel cord. I'm 33 Weeks now and my baby girl looks perfect. 2 vessel cords can cause growth restriction so you'll be getting more ultrasound,I get one every 2 Weeks just to make sure things keep going well. If there its no other sign of down syndrome then there's nothing to worry about.
