im on my second child and i still dont know exactly what a contraction feels like...i was checked yest and i was 1 cm and 50 effaced and my doctor told me to watch for my contractions to be 4-5 mins apart..how do you know if it is a contraction or not cause i feel pressure?
mine hurt like crazy but they dont always. If you are contracting i think your stomach should get really tight and firm like when the baby is pushing against it. I hope this helps.
If your feeling pressure you need to go get checked out. A contraction is a tightening feeling in your uterus, but it doesn't always hurt. Best of luck!
