33+5 and severe rib pain. ER?

Hey,

I'm 33+5 and for the past few hours I've been having severe rib pains on my right side, right under my breast. It feels like cramping and aching and if I lay down it gets very sharp and painful. Or when I take deep breaths, it feels like someone has punched me in the ribs. I've been drinking a ton of water so It's not being dehydrated. And baby doesn't go near my ribs much so I don't think it is her making them sore. I've also been having a lot of pelvic cramping and tightening which I believe is normal. I have a DR appointment on Tuesday, should I wait till then or suck it up and go to the ER? I'm a first time mom so I'm overly worried lol.

Thanks!

Yeah I had a stabbing pain on that side of my ribs a couple times while sleeping last week and I mentioned it to my DR and she didn't seem concerned. Now that it is not going away maybe she will be more worried lol. I just sneezed and I almost cried because it hurt so bad. I'll call my nurse in the morning. Or if it goes worse I might just go to the ER. Thanks! :)

That's A Good Question. I Randomly Get Those. Where It Hurts Too Much To Breathe. I'm Not Sure What Is Causing It. I Tried Asking My Ob About It But I Got Rushed Out. If You're Worried I Would Call

I don't think it's as serious as a punctured lung. I did just go to return a movie to the store and I had to wait before I could drive again because I was having pretty severe shooting pains under my ribs. Even to look over my shoulder I feel a cramping/stabbing pain on my right side. I'd hate to go to the ER for nothing but I'd also hate to ignore something serious :/

I always say if your really concerned then go in. I have no idea what could cause that. If your sure it's not baby then maybe you punctured a lung or something?
