35 weeks pregnant and have pectus excavatum and in pain

hi im 35 weeks preg and im suffering with pains in my chest and i have the condition pectus excavatum which i did have corrected 8 years ago! I have had 1 baby but my chest has gone back in over the years after the correction! they plan to bring the baby at 38 weeks but im getting more and more pains

I see this is an old post. However, I do hope you managed to cope o.k. with the pain?- I also have Pectus excavatum (PE) and am wanting to start a family but have never had surgery for the PE (I didn't even know anything about it until mid 20's) I'm now 42, 43 yrs old in July and have never had any children before (for various reasons.)
The PE is certainly deep enough to warrant surgery but I got scared and didn't get any in the end because I heard it was more risky in an adult.
I'm so sorry to hear yours reversed itself- You must've been in tremendous pain and agony being pregnant with PE. I do hope you and the baby are both well to this day.- I'd love to hear your story of how you coped.
