36week -Pelvic Pressure

I am 36weeks pregnant,I am pretty sure her head is quite low down as my belly has dropped in appearance, I can breathe easier now. For about a week now I have felt significant pressure low down; sometimes when im doing nothing but a lot of the time when im standing/walking. I also get sharp pains that last for a split sec every now and again.Does anyone know if this is all normal?

I posted this to someone else's question the other day...This is what I found in my pregnancy book under 'week 36'- "You may get stabbing pelvic pains or aches like a stitch, which are probably the pelvic ligaments loosening up. The baby's head may be down low in the pelvis and can bounce up and down on your cervix giving you shocks, particularly if you sit down too quickly. This doesn't necessarily mean that the baby is engaged..."

yes and you need to empty your bladder often and can actually have like a bend in it and think you pee'd it all but don't:) keep your feet up more now too so they do not swell!
