38 weeks 3 days - Is loss of appetite normal?

I can't eat - or better yet I don't want to eat and I have been feeling nauseated in the evenings.  Breakfast is okay - lunch is bearable - but the evenings - I can't eat.  Nothing sounds appetizing... Is that normal for 38 weeks 3 days?  On an up note - I am offically on thanksgiving break and then maternity leave after - so no more working for me until Landen comes!!  But it will probably make time drag by slower.  Any input would be great! Dr's appt tomorrow!

I think it is normal for you to get like that right before you are expected to deliver.  It's natures way of making sure you dont' go into labor with a full belly and/or bowel.

That is how I was feeling the last week or so before Jacob came.  Granted he was early, but I had no appetite at all.  Not much longer girls..........before ya know it those little bundles will be here.  Good Luck, I hope you all have easy and quick labors...

Thats absolutely normal... I had loss of appetite throughout my entire pregnancy and especially at the end. I could hardly eat 1 peice of pizza without feeing totally full and nauseated. Try eating a bit more at breakfast and lunch to conpensate for dinner time. Make every calorie count so you maintain a healthy weight. And at dinner, try eating more veggies and proteins instead of carbs - breads and things can make you feel really full really fast. Drink plenty of water, but not while you eat, as this can cause you to feel full too fast as well. I had a huge baby - he was 11 lb 1 oz, and REALLY high, and a week past due... so, I felt full ALL the time! Don't worry.... you'll feel so much better once he's out, and food will taste soooo good. :) Best wishes for your last few weeks of pregnancy, and enjoy every minute of maternity leave!!

I hope I am getting close and it is a good sign - but I really think that my chubby cheeked baby has decided that he is fat and happy where he is at and does not want to leave anytime soon.

Well, I haven't ever made it that far, but lol like a week or so before I had both of my kids, I could barely eat.  I just wasn't hungry, and or felt sick to my stomach!  So0o maybe this is a good sign!!  =)
