5 weeks Ultrasound

I am about 5 weeks pregnant and I went to the doctor today and got and ultrasound. They couldn't find no sign of a baby I even tested positive with the test they gave me. i have no cramping, and no bleeding. They want me to go back tomorrow and take some blood work to test my hormone level. I just need peace of mind... Do you think my baby is playing hide in seek or no big enough to be seen yet or my body is going crazy??

Oh!  One more thing...the fact that you have no bleeding is great too!!!  Try and stay positive!

Well your HCG sounds normal!  I'm sure your little one is just too small to see yet.  I know it's hard, but try not to get so worried just yet.  I bet everything is ok and it's just still too early to see the baby.

Keep us posted!

Ok. They should do a follow up in a 1 or 2. I would ask them about it.

It may be too early to see anything just yet. Have they scheduled you for another u/s yet?

well my guess is that it is too small, i lost my baby at 5 1/2 weeks and my doctor told me no point scaning me as they don't even do scans in the uk till your 7 weeks because the baby can not be seen properly, so i wouldn't worry yet if you have high hcg levels the chances are it is hiding well, good luck.
