You can have a period while you are pregnant. Many women have had one and didn't know they were pregnant until they went into labor. Therefore you can have a period while your pregnant. If you start out without one and suddenly have one then something is probably wrong and you'll need to talk to your doctor. But it is a possibility.
I got a really quick, dark positive right around 4 weeks. Definitely surprised me, but I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and again at 6 weeks that proved that yep, you can get a positive quickly that early.
Thank you, ladies!!!
And thank you, cnj. :) Congrats to you as well!! This is my first so I don't think it's completely sunk in yet but I can't wait until I can tell EVERYONE!! LOL
my lmp was nov 13th. So I'm just a few days behind you. I got a positive with my son in January before my missed period that was super dark as well.. but this time I didn't get one until the day before my period was due and it wasn't THAT dark but it was a good positive. Just depends on the levels, I suppose. Congrats on your pregnancy! I'm also starving but then won't feel like eating.
No, it's not too soon for them to start. I had extreme nausea/vomiting from weeks 5-39 of my pregnancy. The can at anytime after the egg had implanted. The darkness of the line doesn't and how soon it appears doesn't indicate much either, other than you being pregnant. Many women will have a positive test before the control line even pops up.
A female can not have a period while pregnant, so if you had one it's not possible to be further along. You can bleed similar to a period, but it's not one.
