5 weeks preg

i went to the doctor yesterday and she said that im 5 weeks then she told me there was no heart beat i was wondering since this is my first pregnancy at what week do you typicaly hear or see the heart beating?

i went to ultrasound when i was 5 weeks and 6 days an they coul not hear the baby's heartbeat now i am 8 weeks and have an other appoinment on monday in order to check the heartbeat.this is my first pregnancy and i hope everything will be ok.i hope my husband will not get dissapointed because he was really happy.

i am at 6wks and can't see anything yet, dr. said it should be between 6-7 weeks so you might just be too early. My friend couldn't hear the hearbeat till she was 8 wks.

I was 9 weeks when I went to my first appointment & they did an ultrasound & I could hear the heartbeat (167bpm).  A friend of mine was 7 weeks & they also did an ultrasound & she could hear the heartbeat, hers was 141 bpm.  This is my first pregnancy so I don't have very much advice but hope this helps some.

According to my LMP, they say I'm 8 weeks pregnant.  I had an ultrasound done, they showed us the baby, said the baby was good in size and all that.  But, they couldn't find a heartbeat.. can it still be early?  Is there still hope for my baby?

I saw mine at 6 weeks- I am now 8 weeks, 2 days. Although, the first u/s showed a lower heart rate, so I had to go back the next week to check the HR again.

Yea i think its usually around 8 wks when u can hear the heatbeat.

I was able to see our little ones heart beating at 6 weeks 3 days.  I think 5 weeks is really early to be able to see any heartbeat...

You can usually see it on u/s by 6 to 8 weeks like bio said and it can be heard by 12 weeks.

i think its around 10wks...not 100% positive though
