5wks pg no sac, severe pain, is it..ectopic?

I am around 5 weeks, started getting stabbing sharp pains in both of my ovaries, got an ultrasound, I have cysts on both ovaries and they were unable to see a sac, she said my hcg was pretty low also, going in today for another hcg.
I am in so much pain both ovaries sting like crazy, even the meds aren't helping. Does this sound like an ectopic pregnancy or just bad cysts? She is testing me again because she did not rule out neither.

I agree with superchoc.if they thought eptopic, this would have been checked for straight way.hopefully your levels will rise.most scans wont show anything until your levels are above 1000.its still early days yet.cyst are normal in pregnancy.we experience all kinds of nigs and pains in early pregnancy, try to relax and enjoy.

if your hCG is low, shes testing to see if your levels rise, making sure baby is growing. It sounds like bad cysts. If she felt it could possibly be an ectopic pregnancy she would have sent you for a scan. being on both sides would mean a baby is developing on both sides and both would be ectopic. Try not to stress and take each day as it comes. Good luck x
