6 WEEKS PREGNANT AND MILD PAIN IN ABDOMEN

For the past 2 days i have been experiencing a mild pain in the right side of my abdomen. It is mainly in the area where the leg starts. I am really scared, i am haing no other symptom but does it sound like an ectopic pregancy. It comes and goes. It is not a sharp pain more like a dull ache. I sometimes think it is due to constipation a i am costipated at the moment. My sister says she experienced that and it is normal in eaarly preganancy.
Did anyone else have similar pains? Was it normal or due to an ectopic prgnancy? I can sometimes feel it in my lower back. please advise

Thank you so much for your replies! I went to the hospital as the pains were really bad last night and they did a scan of my tubes and everything was fine. I also got to see my little baby!! (6 weeks and 3 days) I saw the little heart beat...wow!
You were right it seems to be due to round ligament pains!!! xxx

I am almost 9 weeks pregnant. I get mild cramps all the time. sometimes on one side, some times in the middle. I also have No symptoms except breast tenderness... which scares me, cause i had a m/c in Feb. and did not have any symptoms. My fiance and I did get to see out little ones heart beat though at 7weeks when i had an ultrasound due to bleeding. So that was a relief.. 3 more weeks and hopefully i will be in the clear.

Sharp twinges/cramping on one side/dull cramping accross the lower abdomen are normal in early pregnancy, mine was SO bad, it felt just like menstrual cramps. Your uterus is stretching to accomodate the baby, it's called round ligament pain and it's completely normal. As long as the pain doesn't become unbareable I wouldn't worry about it, always mention things like this to your doctor though.
