HEART BEATS  at round 8 wks......you should have opted to wait to save you the heartache.  I am 6+wks and the doc ordered an u/s but we decided to wait until 10wks when i am sure that things will be ok.

you just need to have a little faith.  please research on the developmental stages of a fetus so your mind can be at a little ease honey

I was 14 weeks before I got to hear a heartbeat. The baby is just so small, and could be in wrong positions to detect a heartbeat. No worries! I'm now 32 weeks and have a kickboxer in my tummy!! Hang in there girl, its an amazing time, so don't let your mind play tricks on you :) Hugs!

try not to worry too much everything that has been seen is very encouraging that the pregnancy is going well, as the posts above say a hb will no doubt be seen next scan.
congrats!

I saw the same thing @ 6w5d but I heard a heart beat but I was also going to an awesome fertility doctor with the highest technology. I am sure that when you go to your next appointment you will hear that precious heart beat!

I wouldn't be worried. With my last I had an ultrasound in my 6th week and saw the same thing, went back a week and there was a nice strong heartbeat! He's 2 years old now :) Congrats!

Oooopppsss!!! Sorry pressed post by mistake. Anyway my ultrasound was transvaginal because that's the only way she could detect anything. My question is should I be worried that I can't hear the heartbeat yet?? Could anything be wrong with the baby?? Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks ladies :)
