6 weeks and no appitite, should I be worried?

I have no appetite and I haven't gone to the bathroom in about three weeks. I've dealt with irregularity for a while now but I don't want to take any thing until I talk to the doctor. My main worry is not having an appetite, I've made myself eat twice today but I feel like I should be eating more, I want my baby to be healthy. Any advice about how to get my appetite back??  Is it a big problem that I'm not hungry?? And what should I do about being constipated?? HELP!!!

Thank you all for the advice I've been trying to drink at least 8 bottles of water a day and I spend like 50 bucks a week on fruit!! I've been trying to eat lots of cereal with fiber and fruit. I just want to make sure that I'm eating enough, like I said I have been forcing myself to eat!! Thank God that I haven't got morning sickness, YET, cause I'm sure that is just going to make it all the more worse!! My first doctors appt is tomorrow so I have a whole list of Q's to ask!!

Hey there! I had the same thing when I was pregnant, I didn't want to eat nothing once I hit 6 weeks and it lasted until I was about 13 weeks I lost probably 8 pound all I could eat was crakers and gatorade everything else made me sick....as long as you keep taking your prenatal pills you will be okay and try to drink fluids. Also I made up for what I lost 8 times the amount haha once I was feeling better (( Hugs)) I hope this doesn't last long for you!! :) Good luck and congrats.
Also about the not going to the bathroom thing you should phone your doc or midwife and ask if you can take anything for it.

I didn't have too much of an appetite at first either. It helped to just snack around here and there...you can snack on fruits and veggies too in order to get some water and fiber in your diet so that you aren't constipated. Also keep up on your water intake...that can definitely help with your constipation. Make sure you are taking your prenatals too!

It's normal to not have an appitite. As long as you're eating at least 3 meals you should be fine. Just make sure it's proper food an not junk. For constipation, try to get a decent amount of fiber and fruit into your diet. They can both help with going, though constipation during pregnancy is very very common. If diet changes don't work, your doctor will be able to tell you a few things you can take.
