6 weeks prenatal appointment
Hello Ladies. This is my second baby. I will be 6 week's a week from today. I have my first prenatal appointment.. what should I expect at that appointment? My last pregnancy I didn't make it to the doctor until 12 weeks..Can the heartbeat be heard at 6 weeks?
Usually your 1st appointment consists of a lot of talking and paper work possibly another pregnancy test and blood work. You wouldnt be able to hear a heartbeat this early, however if for some reason you had to have an ultrasound now they may be able to see the heartbeat flicker on the screen.
