8 days late and negative pregnancy test

Hi im new to this anx i really need advise. Im 27 yrs old and i was in birth control for 5 1/2 yrs (nuva ring) i stop my birth control in december 2010 and have been having unprotected sex with my husband since then. I been getting my periods regularly 29 day cycle and just this month my period is 8days late. I been feeling very tired lately no energy alittle cramps and bloating. I have taken 5 Preg. Test and all come back neg. I dont know what to do? I wonder if i am Preg or is their something wrong with me. Should i wait another week and take another test or should i go to the dr to do a blood test am very nervous this has never hsppend to me before. I wonder if preg. Test are not accurate? Please help me

No when the lab did my blood work they only ck if it was a positive or a negative. The lab test dont show the hcg levels until i went to the hospital thats when they ck for the hcg levels and showed 0.5 meaning negative. But no period no spotting my lower back hurts alot and alot of cramping. I am going to the drs tomorrow and want an explanation as of what happend. Thanks for your comment i will keep u posted

Did they tell you what you're first HCG level was? With a level of 0.5, that unfortunately means that it's not a viable pregnancy, and more than likely the number has dropped since blood was last tested. This usually means a miscarriage too. I would still say to go and get it tested again in a few days to check whether it has dropped or that though.

Hi im 27 yrs old and my last day of my period was april 19 i took 7 home pregnancies test and they showed negative. I called my obgyn and told them my situation my dr wanted me to do urine and blood test this was all done on monday may 23 2011 got my results the next day which was negative urine test but a positive blood test. On wendnesday i started to feel cramping my breast have been feeling sore and lower back pain. On saturday i decided to go to the er because of my cramping and lower back pain. I just wanted to know if everything was ok with my pregnancy. At the er they did a urine test and a hcg blood level test and the urine came back negatative and blood test came back as 0.5 hcg level meaning negative. I was devasted to find out this information. So my question is could i still be pregnant even though my hcg level is 0.5 but have had a positive blood test on monday? Could that mean that im still very early maybe just days? Please help me im very confused.

I just got the results from my blood work and it came out that im pregnant. Im 5 wks 3 days. We are very excited and very thankful with god for this blessing

I took the test after my period was due and only one time i did do the preg test in the morning. Thanks for the comments i will post new info when i go to the dr

When did you take these tests? after you period was due? If before, it could have just been too early to detect anything. Did you use first morning urine?
I would say go to the doctor for a blood test, that should tell for certain whether you are pregnant or not. Good Luck and keep us posted!

hi mrs..llopez..aftr reading yr history,i can say you that u had unprotected intercourse last december 2010..eventhough u r getting yr periods every month...it means u didnt become pregnant...u might hav unprotected intercourse in safe period..i also want to to know what is the time gap between yr use of nuva ring and unprotected sex.

if u r not conceiving even after repeated unprotected  sexual intercourse then u and yr husband need to have investigations to rule out cause of infertility in both male and female...
