8 weeks pregnant and sick

I had to go stay in the hospital because I couldn't even hold down water. They kept me a week and sent me home on a liquid diet. The nausea is killer!!! I am on 2 different meds and the zofran nausea pump! I am sick all of the time and I have detached myself from my pregnancy. I know this is something most people don't say but when is enough, enough? I mean I can't possibly be giving this child the healthy foods it needs! My first pregnancy was nothing like this. I feel that I may need to talk to someone because I am now second guessing this child. Not that I would end the pregnancy but how do I keep this from filtering to the baby once its born and the dr said I could be this sick the entire pregnancy. I am afraid I will resent this child!

I got admitted back to hospital,last night.  I had puked so much,my esophogus was bleeding so they called in a GI Dr as well.  it took them 6 times to get a IV started.  They have me on fluids with extra vitamins, pgenogren, zofran, pepcid. Ive never been this sick. I cant eat so I feel like im starving to death, I cant even find a drink that taste,good to try. Last time they sent,me home,with PHenogren cream and zofran disolve tablets,so tthis time,when I get to go home, they better give me something bettter I hope. Im 8 Weeks today and I dont know how ill get through Weeks and Weeks more of this.  Ive already had to rely on our families to gt elp keep oir son so he can work since im not getting paid.  I pray we all get relief very soon.

I was on the zofran pump as well hospitalized twice look up hyperemesis gravidum. I couldn't eat or drink. I cried b/c my body craved water and couldn't drink it. I seen the toilet bowel more than I seen outside. Ginger ale and crackers doesn't help either. I am 40w4d and doing much better. Good luck on this journey

Call your dr!! First thing they will usually start you on nausea meds and watch you to see if you need fluids. My first stay was 4 days and we are sure ill be back. She said some stop at about 15-20 weeks and some go in the entire pregnancy. I was sent home on a liquid diet and I can only drink water right now :( I haven't eaten in 2 days and don't even have the want to!! Dr said just keep fluids down but last night I was throwing up stomach acid again. I might be heading back to the hospital by tonight. I can tell you this, my first was nothing like this!!! I have been ready to ask the dr to just end this one, but the hubby doesn't feel the same. He got angry when I talked about it.

Wow!!! I hope you lady's get the relief you need!!! Peggy how far along are you? I never had it bad(so far) guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My complications are always at the end. I heard after the first trimester it's suppose to ease up

I hope you get some relief as well.  Your not alone. Ive got a call in to my dr. right now BC im throwing up some blood.

Thank you so much!! Just reading what you put made me cry!! I feel so lost and depressed. I have a 6 yr old that I homeschool and I can't even get out of bed because of the nausea and I just feel weak. I hope you get some relief. I am calling my dr Monday and asking what my next step is. I can't live like this. I am down 45 lbs from a month ago. I cry all the time and my arms are brused from the iv's and crap! I am ready to maybe talk to dr about ending this pregnancy. That makes me feel like a bad person but I have other responsibilities to my 6 yr old. Praying for us both!! Let me know what dr says. My email is Peggy.***@****

I'm on 7w 2d, cant hold down water either. Havent gone to the doctor yet. This is my first child and I'm right there along with you about detaching from the baby... I tell my husband I DO NOT want another child after this but he laughs and says I'll be ok. Doesnt understand...

I am 7w 5d pregnant. I too an on my second child, my first pregnancy I was never sick, this time I have also spent 5 days in hospital BC I throw,up 24/7  the nausea is constant, I have found nothing that I can keep down and I am also on 2nausea,meds and,acid reflux BC im puking so much.  Ive been so miserable im not excited either, its like,having flu non stop. Everyday I wonder,if ill be able to get through the day. I dont see how anyone could feel,like this for 9 months.  I Havel decided this is last child ill have BC I couldnt imagine doing this again.
