i recently posted a question on here about bleeding during pregnancy. i'll be nine weeks pregnant in two days. i've noticed more and more that the only time i spot or have bleeding is when i have an orgasm or even get aroused.. sorry if TMI :( i was just wondering if anyone has an idea what that could be from? i also get light cramps after i have an orgasm. i'm trying to steer away from having an orgasm now because i'm sick of the spotting and bleeding. i have sex and if i get an orgasm it's not only embarrasing and annoying for me but it's probably a huge turn off for my boyfriend if i start lighty bleeding. i've resorted to thin liners. i never fill them. i'm hoping i never get that much bleeding. if i bleed at work or when i'm not having an orgasm or aroused it's usually very light pink spotting or light brown. any thoughts? i pray this doesnt mean a possible misscarriage in the future. but any advice on how to have a normal sex life? and what this could possibly be?
and for the ladies who posted on my previous question, i thank you very much for the feedback! i really appreciate it.
some women have problems that keep them from having sex during pregnancy...you may be one of those, unfortunately. you may simply have a sensitive cervix....you should talk to your doctor. they'll want to do an u/s to figure out where the bleeding is coming from, whether it's your cervix or from within the uterus. Good luck :)
i don't know how to explain it. sometimes are lighter than others. i know that probably doesn't help. lol. i'm very sorry. but it's not anything like period bleeding! i sometimes pass tiny tissue or tiny blood clots. but i'm not sure which one it is.
Well when I was bleeding (again, very lightly) after having sex it was as if I had really rough sex and would just see a little reddish line or something when I wiped, but then it would be gone. Freaked me out though lol
alright so i'm about ready to be done with all of this. sex yesterday, and i start bleeding more than i have yet this entire pregnancy. it's super annoying and stressful. i filled up my whole liner. i have no pain or cramping though. so i dont know what to think anymore... ughhh.
I agree with refraining until you speak with the doctor. I spotted every time we had sex during my first pregnancy and it landed me in the emergency room. This time around (I'm 7 week) I'm not taking any chances and waiting until 12 weeks or so.
i bled from sex once and went to the er but everything was fine. the doctor that gave me my ultrasound told me that she bled everytime she had sex when she was pregnant and at first it scared her but she finally just got used to it. so i think its normal but bring it up with your doctor. its not normal if its accompanied by cramping more severe than menstrual cramps.
